thanks lisa but most of those foundations are for terminally ill children, chris is not terminally ill even though doctors cannot tell us his life expectancy. his disorder is rather rare and involves seizures and learning problems he is also autistic in a lot of ways. but thanks again just the same. faye

thank you for the info. but we have been through all of that with martin co. family and social services and soc. sercurity we are above the guidelines and dont qualify for help. that is why we were looking for an alternative solution like a grant. even though my son has ssi they said he does not qualify for anything else my husbands income (gross) is between 2300 to 3100 a month by the time they take taxes and other charges like our medical insurance which we are required to have were he works there is not much left it costs us nearly 200 a month for my sons depend undergarments. faye

i am looking for a way to pay my bills especially medical ones we only have one income in our home and i have a handicapped 14 yr old son he does not qualify for medicaid none of us do . i also have another kid at home whos 19 and going to college this fall. we all have medical bills our insurance has a high deductible its the only way we can afford it. my husbands income varies depending on his hours i have health problems and taking care of my son prevents me from working. chris has a rare seizure disorder that also mimicks autism. he cant even go to the bathroom for himself. he gets a small amount of ssi but only once in awhile depending upon my husbands income each month. i have about 6,000 in medical and 12,000 in credit card bills used to pay medical bills any help would be appreciated. thank you faye
